Information, support and tools for arts and culture freelancers!

General

Welcome to Freeo!

Freeo was created with freelancers’ needs in mind. It is a continuation of Teme’s long project work to improve and develop working conditions for freelancers. The aim has been to provide a single point of access to the most relevant, up-to-date information and an easy route to the most appropriate source of expertise for the issue at hand. The aim has also been to create concrete opportunities for peer-to-peer meetings and well-being support.

Freeo presents freelance work in all its forms (contract work, grant work, self-employment, copyright), but focuses on those who work in employment, as this is the main way of working for TEME’s freelance members.

Under the heading “Income security “, Freeo has brought together essential issues affecting the working life and income of freelancers. You can find information on issues such as unemployment benefits and taxation. In the tools section, you will find an AI-assisted workbot called Pykälä, which will help you with questions related to work, employment contracts, labour law and unemployment benefits.

Freeo’s Wellbeing at Work aims to provide support and tools for the wellbeing and well-being at work of freelancers and all members of Teme. Through the platform, it is possible to book an appointment for a personal work coaching session or to participate in a guided coaching and peer group. Freeo also offers a self-adopted Strengthener peer group model.

The Authors’ Search is a networking opportunity for all Teme members who want to expand their professional network, find new opportunities for collaboration or become visible among Teme’s performing arts artists. The Authors’ Search is an opportunity to meet others in the field, make new contacts and offer sparring support to colleagues in changing work situations. Employers can create a profile on the search page to describe their activities and advertise their vacancies.

The author search is open to all, but membership of Teme is required to create a profile.

In the Platform’s News section, you will find webinars and training sessions open to all on topics closely related to working life.

We are excited to invite you to visit Freeo and explore its potential for you!

On behalf of the entire team of experts at Temen,

Heidi
